One last time, for those just now signing up for the newsletter:
Our annual BASH, which is our annual Customer Appreciation Day, will be held on August 12th, which is the 2nd Saturday of the month. The hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm, although Mike's Karaoke may go a bit later. There will be plenty of flameworking demonstrations, door prizes, vendors, live music, great food and stimulating conversation with friends both old and new. Many of the demonstrators will be selling their artwork and will also be donating a piece of their artwork for door prizes. Some of the other door prizes will include gift certificates, eye protection items, videos, magazine subscriptions, and - yes, even some of the highly coveted glass from Mike's Vault! Mike will pull at least 10 full length assortments from his vault that will include colors like Amber Rose, Ochre Red Roof Tile and Sea Green, among others. This, alone, is worth coming for! But wait - there's more:
Here is the schedule for our demonstrators:

The demonstrations will be set up with plenty of seating and some of them will have a mic and a projector and screen for better sound and viewing.
Store Sales: Among other sales in the store that day we will be offering the lowest discount for all sales. This means that even a sale of 1/4 lb of glass (normally no discount) will fetch the 20 lb glass discount of 35% Off!
Vendors: Besides the demonstrators, who all want to sell some of their artwork, we will also have tables and vendors from Glass Alchemy, The Flow Magazine, Bucket O' Mud, Northstar Glass, Coatings by Sandburg (CBS), Blazam Media, Griffin Glass Tools, Blazen Glass, and others. Even Frantz will set up a table for sales on special items.
Food: For anyone who missed the registration for Xinh's seafood, there will be plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers cooked by Mike & crew. All food and drinks will be free. We want you to have FUN!
Lodging/Camping: We will have camping in the field across from our store, just as we did last year. Camping space will be available from 5:00 PM on Friday, August 11 through Sunday, August 13 at 6:00 PM in the field across from Frantz Art Glass.
There are only 3 rules to follow:
- Keep an eye on your children and pets (dogs - cats - iguanas . . .) and clean up after them
- No alcohol
- No open fires
For those who would prefer to stay in a hotel, although the rooms at Little Creek Casino and Hotel are already booked up, there are other motels in the area, mostly in Olympia, which is a 20-minute drive. But here is a list out of the Shelton phone book:
