Testing Compatablility. How?

How do you test compatablility? Is there a good way to do it in your own studio?

Here is a simple compatability test I posted a couple of weeks ago. The results is very fast, as soon as it is cool enough to touch you will know the results. If the stringer bends, the glass is not compatable. If it stays straight it is.
