New Artemis Lampwork Studio

Here is a close up of my glass storage, then a couple pics of the studio layout as it is currently. The area underneath will have a door so I can keep all my books, boxes, etc neatly.

This photo shows most of my work space. What you don't see off to the left is that large enclosed cabinet in it's entirety. It has two doors in front. When the left door opens, a table drops down and I can place my laptop to my left, safely away from the kiln & flying glass (well MOSTLY LOL)!

And who can work without a studio cat balanced on your chair back? Oh, and for those of you who ALWAYS complain cuz my studio is too neat, I left it a MESS after a Twistie Session, just so you can see I CAN be messy!

OK I took a picture head on, first with the cabinet doors closed, then one with them open (don't mind the packin material mess! I am packing twisties non-stop, so I am just leaving it out). The laptop is visible in photo 2!~

Note the tabletop, which drops down from the left door, toward the work station. THat's what the laptop is on. the table folds back up onto the door, then the door shuts!

It was custom made for my girlfriend and her hubby. They are getting ready to move onto a Tugboat they are refurbishing and are having to divest themselves of furniture. I got it!Lucky me! Nice Lynnie! Love your cat, what a perfect pic!

LOL thanks! I watch Law & Order, CSI, The Closer, Project Runway, & SVU while I am torching.. Why? I know most of the episodes by HEART (scary, huh?), so I can LISTEN and still know what's happening while paying attention to my torch!! LOL

I envy the TV - I have no TV in my studio. I depend on books on tape and music instead, but would love to have a TV in there! Good for you that your friends are moving onto a boat and you got all of that wonderful furniture. The twisties are looking good!! Keep in touch:wave: ,

The Friends are currently staying with us while they are getting the boat ready, and he finishes his masters degree (May).
