New site, would love feedback!

I have a new site and would love to know what you guys think....how I should improve it, what you like about it, etc. Right now there aren't any beads on it :( but I'm hoping to change that soon! I hope that it's easy to navigate and read, but I've looked at it so much that it's all blurred together....

Beautiful!! Subtle graphics that don't distract, straight-forward navigation...now all thats left is to fill it up with gorgeous beads!! :D

Thanks pipyr! I was hoping that it wasn't too ..... lol, I don't know, just too. I'm working on adding pics ;) Just gotta get going on learning how to make pics look good. I still haven't figured out what a good size for the pics to be would be. (uh, that sentence made my head hurt) Any tips would be appreciated!

Classy and Unique - I think it is very well put together. I would like to see some space between your journal entries and the black navigation bar. Other than that, so far its a gorgeous site.

Thanks Kara! That's the kind of stuff I need to know....I'll see if I can fix that. I'm worried that it doesn't look that good in IE but I don't really know how to fix that....

Thanks Kalera! I need to figure out what size pics are best...and play around w/ my photography skills a bit, but I'm hoping to get stuff on there SOON. LOL but isn't that what we all hope? ;)

I use IE and it looks just fine! I can check it in Safari at work tomorrow if you'd like.

oh thanks Kara! I only have firefox at home, so that's all I see it with. Someone else had told me that it looked huge in IE and pics were grainy....got me all worried!

Letha, You have some pretty graphics, and I like the names in your navigation bar. I read your About Me page but didn't think to look in the gallery to see if you've posted pictures of all your creations. Bet other people would like to see, too :)

A couple of suggestions:
~ if you're going to have a little blurb about lampwork in your FAQ, I'd make it a bit more descriptive than the paragraph that you have there

~ make your eBay page open in a new window so that your site doesn't disappear, or have some way of letting people know what you're selling presently on eBay so that they don't need to navigate away from your page if they don't want to

Thanks angelinabeadalina! I do need to put more of my past work up...I've been putting that off till I knew the site was gonna stay and everything, but I need to get on that now!

Thanks Janice! You're right about the blurb on lampworking...I need to find a good definition that really goes into it...with history probably! That's a good point about not going away from my page....I'll try and see if I can figure out how to do that in another page.

ohoh I totally forgot! please forgive me! I did check the website on my Mac's Safari browser and it looks great! I love the space you put in between the journal and tha nav menu.

btw, I've found toe socks at target! In the best colors and wacky prints!! I love wearing them at winter time with my birks.

and don't you just LOVE toe socks?? ... but those striped socks...oh how I lust for them!
