RedMax Premix tips

Can anyone tell me if the national tips will work on my RedMax premix minor? Call me cheap but i dont want to go buy a tip just to test.. but i cant find a straight answer on the net. Figure this is the place to ask.](*,)

Here's kind of a answer.

The National tips are 7/16-24 thread. Frankly I don't know if this is the defactor standard thread for all premix torches, or not.

So... unless some one else chimes in with THE answer, I would suggest going to the hardware store and buying one 7/16-24 nut (10 cents - the car gas will cost a lot more). If the nut threads onto the Redmax, then the National tips will fit. Be certain it is a 7/16-24.
