I am such a newbie at the web page thing so this is maybe really dumb but...... do you use frames vs tables on your site and why? I have read good things / bad things about both. :doubt:

I use layers. They work sort of similar to tables, but you have a lot more control over positioning and sizing.

But, frames vs. tables is not quite an accurate comparison. They do two different things.

What is it you're tying to accomplish, layout-wise?

Frames are the devil. Tables or layers are much better for organizing a website.

The Cons of Frames:
• Getting stuck in someone's frames
• Can't bookmark a particular page within a framed site
• Search engines won't effectively see and categorize the site
• Frames don't print correctly, they print one frame semingly randomly
• Multiple scrollbars on a page are very confusing
