What is the height of your work bench or table for making glass beads? My husband will be building my bench area soon, but I am not sure what height I will need. I am thinking around 35 inches...suggestions would be appreciated!!
Thank you!!

My husband built mine at 35", so that with hardibacker and tile, the torch sits at 36" off the floor. I like to stand up when I torch, and I also have a tall stool if I want to "Perch".

Now, if I just had electricity...

30" from floor to top of counter is sit height.
36" to top of counter is stand up height.
In the Scientific Lab casework world.

We put out counter at 35 inches ( my husband and I are of shorter stock  ) and he likes to stand and I like to sit, so with a tall adjustable chair we can do either. Have a great time building your studio!

My husband built mine for stained glass years ago. It is in the stand height variety. Probably 36". I will be building another in the future and it will be right there at 35/36" (and inch one way or the other won't bother me).

I am some what short (5'5") and I usually sit but sometimes stand.

Mine is 36" and I have a stool:

I usually sit, and get my nose WAY too close to the torch LOL!!

36" and I have a drafting chair. I love it since I am short enough (5'3") to stand and work if I want to.
