View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : Oxycon service required button how do I make it shut up
HI...
Just got my oxyon today and yet I plug it in and the service required alarm is going off? Is there a reason for this and how if I can ...can I shut it off. Waiting to hear from Justin but thought I'd ask here too!
Also...how long till oxygen actually flows? It's like it's not doing anything....
Thanks
Irene
sounds like you are not getting power to the unit (alarm will sound if it does not have electricty and it is switched on) Try plugging it into a different outlet and see if it works there.

Oxy con should be producing oxygen after a minute or two of running.....
Alarm should go off when it starts producing oxygen....
To silence alarm there is probably a reset switch on control board (inside) but resetting it will probably NOT start oxygen flowing if there is internal problem...

NO oxygen is being produced. The flow thingy.....isn't moving at all.
I have another oxycon that has been waiting for pickup that my mother in law used while she was here for breathing purposes only and that one within a few seconds is producing oxygen. Sooooo
It's not the plug.
I guess I'll just have to wait for Justin to let me know what's up.
Thanks for your help:-)

When I got mine, it did the same thing - constant alarm and no flow. Turns out, a part was broken inside with a bolt sheared off. I sent pictures to Justin and he was good about promptly sending the replacement part and instructions on completing the repair.

Here's something I did once... I turned it on to test it, but I had the volume control turned all the way OFF. Naturally the ball stayed really low and the buzzer went off since hardly any O2 was being produced. I was really worried for a second until I realized what I'd done. Hopefully your situation will be this easy to resolve! -Heather (*blush*)

Will try to give you a call tonight :)
Thanks Justin.
And to everyone else.....When the product was shipped I guess the handling made a plug come out of it's thingy ma jig. Justin called me....talked me through it and now we have Oxygen!!!!
I am amazed how little oxygen actually comes out of those machines and STILL melts glass.
I'm in love!
Thanks Justin and Larry for your help
