When do you END an auction?

In your observations, is there a good time to END an auction? I usually end around 5:30pm (here on the West Coast) assuming that people come home from work...

Do you have a normal time you end auctions?

Mine tend to end during the day, because I usually list them while I'm at work (like I am now - don't tell my boss... wait, I'm self employed).

I have tried listing them so they end at night, or in the evening, or whatever, but I haven't seen a difference in prices or sales either way. Some people swear that by ending them at a certain time they do better, but that hasn't been my experienece.
