Tax Info For Tucson - 2007

What does a vendor need to do to be ready for Tucson in terms of taxes, forms, permits?

I've been googling for an hour with no concrete list. I found this link:

But there are tons of tax forms on there to download, which one?

You dont have to do anything ahead of time. They will come to the show and collect $30 for your permit and have you fill out some forms.

The dollars that are collected during the show ($28) are for the city tax.

I have always applied for a temporary state tax permit (TPT) ... The people on their help line have always been very helpful... Call (602)255-2060.

yes from what i have been told get your state ahead of time, TPT , and tucson will collect while youre down there..

What You Need:
Transaction Privilege Tax Application
This is a form for Special Event Licensing, which allows you to collect Arizona sales tax. It is a routine sales tax form with instructions. Comes in an Adobe PDF file, in either a print and fill out PDF file form, or a fillable PDF file form.
Cost: $12.00.
What to do:

Complete the form and return to Arizona Department of Revenue.


City of Tucson
What You Need:
Dealer Trade Show License for the City of Tucson.
This is a one time exhibitor trade show license fee.
Cost: $28.00.
What to do:
A City of Tucson representative will come by the show to collect
the license fee.

But let me just ask...this somehow takes care of LOCAL sales tax? My Mom says there is state and local.....?
