Ok I hope this is the right thread.
I started on a HH about 1999. I just sparked up my brand new to me Midrange bench burner:jawdrop: It's totally different! I knew hotter, a bit more complicated, but it's QUIET! I mean after being on a HH it's super spooky quiet! Like your going to blow up quiet, or the Headless Horseman is coming quiet. :poke: And I don't seem to be sparking her up right. Theres a large flare. Am I turning it up too high? Maybe I have the spark lighter too close. I have to fill my propane tank anyway. I'm replacing the flint on my spark lighter just to cover all the bases!
I'm sure that I'll need alot of tweeking but this is just crazy.

When you turn your propane on, just crack it open a little. I got tired of the flint lighters and switched to wooden kitchen matches. They work great and I don't wear out my grip before I start working.

Its always awesome lighting up and torching on that new torch for the first time isnt it! and Man! quiet and hot! woo hoo! your gonna be a torching fool in no time ! lol probally already are but you know what I mean hehe :)

Papimom Loved the idea I switched it to a candle because I torch standing up and need to walk and move occasionally. I love how easily it lights!=D>
