I'm doing my first bead show this weekend . .. . so, maybe/hopefully I can meet some LE members if you live nearby!! I'll be sharing a booth with Roma Buchanan (www.romazone.com), so if you pick up a map of the show look for her name.

Wish me luck!!! I have no idea what to expect, but hopefully I meet alot of nice people and make a few sales.

Do you know Roma? I met her a couple of weeks ago. She's a hoot! We really want to come to Texas and take some of her classes on wire wrapping.

Hey Vickie - yup, I know her, and she is a TOTAL hoot :) I met her a couple of years ago (took one of her classes) and we've partnered up on some things. I teach basic lampworking for her, she has some fabulous ideas for bracelet kits and will use my beads, and we're doing a booth together this weekend which should be fun!! I HIGHLY recommend one of her classes . . . . it's a fun day and you'll leave with a ton of information and ideas and you get to bring home whatever jewelry you make!

oooh, Roma's a blast! I met her at the San Antonio Bead Show a couple of years ago (I had a corkscrew that she desperately needed! HA!) and bought a fused pendant. Vendors have to shop from other vendors, you know!!! Her stuff is beautifully made - I get compliments every time I wear it!

And i'm still kicking myself cuz I didn't take a class she offered in SA .... :mad:
