Ok, I don't see a technical forum, but please feel free to move this if there's a better place for it.
My question is this:
When I'm done lampworking, I turn my oxygen tank off, then the propane. After a few hours, I go back and the dial on my oxygen is no longer at zero where it should be when turned off, but up at about 10. I know I've completely drained it before I turn it off, and it sits at zero when I close it. Is this normal? Am I missing something??

My guess would be that you didn't turn the big knob on the tank off HARD ENOUGH.

Oxygen pressure in tank is over 2000 PSI and some must be leaking past the valve seat. If the knob is too uncomfortable to turn with your bare hand, use one of those rubber lid grippers to get a better hold on it.
