Help with Hair on Angels and Mermaids?

How do you get long flowing long hair? I made stringers for hair and when I apply it to the heads it dips in at the neckline and looks stupid.

Do you fill in at the neck line before adding the tresses with stringer?

I finally gave up and gave an angel I had to make for a guy at work a short bob with dots for curls.

Hi Linda -
I actually make twisties and use them for long flowing hair on mermaids, dollie heads and so on. That alone tends to fill in around the neck since the twisties are thicker than stringers. Plus, I like more than one color in hair.
