How do I know if my flame is right..

OK,, I have a new set up. I got from a friend of ShawnT. (Hey Shawn!)
I have a minor and oxy concentrator. My flame doesn't "hiss" like my HH did. I got the big bushy flame, then dialed in the oxy. It turned blue, but I was execting the flame to be longer. It melted my glass pretty fast, but I'm not sure what I was expecting. OH yeah,, the oxy concentrator was dialed in at 4 1/2.
When I took a class, they used Oxy tanks, so maybe that's the difference.

AND... What is the gauge that connects to the tank suppose to be at?

I'm working outside(until studio gets complete), so maybe my flame was blowing in the wind.

I don't have a minor, and bless Shawn for that gift!! What a Girl she is!!
My Barracuda came with instructions that you want the flame blue, no yellow. Hope this helps!
