Here are pics of my new studio.... My hubby did this for me for my christmas present,,,, I know it is not that fancy... but I am super pleased.... Nice to have all my stuff out of my livingroom... and I love being out there in my zone and listening to my favorite music.....

LOL... they work pretty good don't they???? I found those stupid popcorn containers you get from the kids.... they work real good for real long rods... Finally something to do with those things.. LOL

My studio is at the back of the garage... We had the nice work bench already.. I just needed to clean it up a bit.. was full of junk... and we put up a tarp from the ceiling down.... to make a room... so I don't have to heat the whole garage.. but have ventalation in there... Hubby bought me a new hanging light... like a work bench light... with a pull string... and then I got a garage heater... pretty small.. but seem's work great so far.... and after I have lit the torch... it warms up nicely in there... In the summer.. I plan to take down the temp walls.... but I love the private lilttle space..... Really wasn't too hard to create....

That's the best christmas present ever!! The set up is really nice! I would definitely move your mandrels to the left side or your torch flame and your glass to the right side. That way both are easily available to you when you need them and you don't have to worry about playing dodge the flame. Unless you are a southpaw, in which case, just reverse the sides..
