I just took over my husband's PC because my laptop is having problems, and the only image editing software he has is something called Paint.NET. I was skeptical, becuase I'm a long-time PhotoShop user, but I tried it and it's great!
I haven't been able to control the balance and color as well as I can with PhotoShop, but the image quality is good (much better than Paint Shop Pro). It seems comparable with PhotoShop Elements.
