I'd love to make Ghost beadies for two little girls I know. Does anyone have a Ghost tut available?
Thanks!
Here's your quick and dirty ghost tutorial - note that this is my method, I'm sure there are tons of other methods out there.
Step 1 - Getcher Mandrel
You have to start with a mandrel. If you'd like to use the ghost for anything other than a stainless steel post decoration, you'll probably want some bead release on the mandrel.

Step 2 - Arms
Put a barrel of white (or transparent) glass on your mandrel as wide as you want your ghosts 'arms' to be.

Step 3 - Head
Put a nice round glob of glass right on top of the arms you made in step 2. Make sure you melt this into the arm barrel - you don't want any undercut. The head should merge seamlessly with the arms.

Step 4 - Torso
Get a big glob of glass below the arms, in line with the head. Fat ghosts need bigger globs than thin ghosts, but you'll also need a big glob if you intend to make a long, skinny ghost. As with the head, melt this glob into the arm barrel and make sure you don't have any seams.

Step 5 - Tail
Melt another, smaller glob onto the bottom of the torso. This will be the tail. Again, melt it in all the way, no seams, no undercuts.

Step 6 - Shape
Get your ghost hot, starting with the head. When the glass is a little molten at the very top, use the tip of the glass rod you used for the body to grab a little piece of the top of the head. Then pull it out and give it a little twist so your ghost has a head shaped like the top of a soft-serve ice cream cone.
As you go down the body, you'll want to let gravity pull the torso and tail down and away from the barrel arms a bit, tapering as you go. At the very bottom, twist the tail like you did the head. Voila, a ghost!
Now just decorate it with eyes and other fru-fru stuff, and you'll have a nice hallowe'en decoration. Like this:

If you want the hole to go the other way.... Use my heart tutorial (only white glass) until you get to the part where you are putting in knife marks... Now you
'play' with the bottom so it is wavy add two little black dots for eyes I don't put on a mouth arms sticking out at shoulder level are also optional, however without arms he looks a bit like a tooth with eyes! These make really cute beads for earings! Finished earrings photo on other computer, sorry!

Here are my ghosts. They are done a little different but I like them. This is figuring out how to do them with just imagination. I do like the casper though.
I think there is a 'ghost in a jar' tutorial at Melinda's site...Cauldron Creations. I think it was Allison Turner's.
Then again, my memory could be whacked.

OK, I went and checked so I wouldn't look like an idiot.

Hum...I don't see any pics either :(
Maybe he, or she, pulled the pics. The tute is from 2005 and under the name it says "out of the biz".
