I need help on making these types of slightly tapered cylinder beads. They where to be around 50mm and 11mm in diameter at the thickest point; I cant seem to keep the entire surface hot enough and well the pictures show the results. I’m using a GTT Lynx torch, and the foundation of the beads are made with white #204(got a load of it for a great deal). I don’t think the shocky white is the problem or the ability of the torch to heat this size of bead, so any suggestions would be great.
Thanks Bayard

The only real solution is to make yourself keep heating the entire bead. When I'm making something like that, every 5-10 seconds, I wave the whole bead through the heat. Eventually it will just be habit for you.
