View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : ASK and Messy
I just ordered some Messy colors: Celadon, Hanlong Bay, Peacock Green, Leaky Pen, Ginger Dark Unique, Cirrus, Gelly sty Pink, Rose quartz, and ASK colors Baia blue and Persimmon. Are these glasses compatable with Moretti and Lausha? Any tips about encasing them? Any tips about using these glasses appreciated!:[-o<
Thanks,

WOOO HOOO my parcel just arrived from AMerica about 30 mins ago. I got a bunch of ASK and cim (the only cim colours I didn't get where the french blue and peacock green).
So any help re encasing and compatibility would be double appreciated from me as well.

Hi Mary K-This topic has been floating around the past week or so. Wish I knew how to post links but I asked a question about annealing the different 104s in one bead, Tink started a thread about annealing schedules, and there is another that started about CIM colors specifically. They should all come up in the first page or 2.
I just got Cirrus, Leaky Pen, Silver Cinnamon, Violet Nights and Caramel Apple. I used them all together (not all at the same time!) and had no problems. I used silver and sis on some too. These are some awesome colors. Good luck and have fun!

Violet Nights is NOT to be encased according to instruction from Arrow Springs. There are quite a few threads with people having cracking encasing ASK - especially with Lauscha clear. I think it's usually the silver colors such as Silver Rattan, Silver Cinnamon and Caramel Apple but you should check.
There are threads on the higher annealing temperature for Cirrus and Leaky Pen - so check on those as well.
All in all, since these are new glass, everyone is still experimenting with how best to work them. They are gorgeous tho!
I love encasing but almost never encase any of my ASK - just don't want to take a chance! It's heartbreaking to see others' beautiful cracked beads posted on this forum.
Hope that helps.
