Does it really matter if you have one brand of concentrator and then hook another one to it. If I get my devilbiss (8-10psi, 5lpm) and then get another weaker concentrator (5 psi, 5lpm or whatever those numbers are?), can I link the two together without a problem?
Thanks -

You should try to get matched PSI units. The problem will be that the higher psi unit will provide back pressure against the lower pressure unit and will probably cause it to alarm and shut down.
Are you sure that the other concentrator is weaker? Most of them are factory preset at around 8 or 9, from what I've heard... and I've run different ones together at random with no problems.

I'm not sure. The one I ordered is a Devilbiss 505 but I was looking at getting a second one from the sale in the Garage but all I know is they are suppose to be Airsep Newlife so I'm not even sure what soecs are on them.
thanks -

I thought that was what the check valves in the Y connectors were for - to prevent backflow. I've got a basic 5 LPM and a higher-pressure 5 LPM Devilbiss, and they work beautifully together.
