Crosses?

I'm looking for a tutorial on how to make a cross. My dad asked me to make him one a while ago and i guess it's time to actually start

I searched and found a thread from about a year ago, and figured i'd be better off starting a new one... (if i'm wrong in doing this tell me, or delete the thread...) i'd like one with the hole going either through the "arms" of the cross or through the top part, but the other way is fine too.

I'm sure this is the thread you found. Personally I would just make a barrel and add dots to the top 1/2 or 1/4, stack until as tall as I want and then melt smooth and shape. Easier typed than done, for sure. I have never tried one.

I have a lot of catholic friends and DH is as well and I like making them rosaries one cool thing to do that people seem to like is after you get the cross take needle nose and press down on each connecting corner in the center, like you would to get a leaf kinda and this will give a great star like affect to the cross, really pretty with trans. colors because the light shine through and you get the etheral effect.

Hi Anastasia,
I've made quite a few crosses. I make a small barrel bead, add decoration, then add the arms. I shape them and then I'm done. I've put a few here. Please email me if you have any questions ok.,

Thank you I hunted up some pics not the best but you can kinda get the idea
and I usually do the crosses larger this was for a necklace so I did this one only about 1 1/2"

and if you put a dot of trans. color like yellow or clear in the corners then do it it is really fun looking.

I've done some crosses. I usually run the hole the other direction, but have done them both ways.

Basically, I start with a barrel and add glass. After the barrel I try to keep shaping to a minimum. (Maybe it looks that way.) I'd try to answer more questions if you have any.

OK I was playing with this one today, I embleished it sorry I forgot I was going to try to get a good pic here of the star idea. Anyways here are some shots of it. I didn't point the stars here and I did them in a diferent color. I try alot of different styles to see which one I like best. Hope you have fun playing with this idea.
