I would like to hear views on this regarding sale-ability. You know, sometimes the silver looks a little icky around just the bead hole on an otherwise gorgeous bead. Sell it? Keep it? Sell it in person? Sell on the internet?
I made a really pretty set of flowers. I never do flowers but these are nice except for the darn silver around some of the bead holes. Easily covered by a spacer or some silver, but....sigh.

Just soak the beads in coke. It should eat the silver away and you will have a nice clean hole. Don't soak too long, it may etch the beads, too.

Or you can put them in etch bath for about 30 seconds. It will take the silver off, but not etch the bead.

Hey thanks! I was starting to think nobody loved me anymore.
I'll have to go and get some Coke and give that a try. If that doesn't work I'll try the etch stuff, but they're transparent so I wonder what it'll do.
Thanks again!
