The shots I posted earlier in "Modular" didn't show me working in them because I had to hold the camera, so yesterday a friend helped take these.
Here are a few shots of the flame and working posture. I can't stand for 10 hours, but I can sit that long, the arm rests are topped with Kevlar heat proof mitts which keeps them handy and provides a place to wipe dusty glass.
The main (smaller flame) torch is an old stainless Victor and the top is a national 6B with a custom tip. Most of the hand tools for glass were made here in the shop, 100 lbs. of graphite goes a long way.:idea:
Only the Victor has foot control, for condensing and blowing a larger mass on the top torch a huge steady flame is generaly used.
All of my e-bay work (seller ID wizard97365) has been made on this setup and it can open doors at an art show.):fireblob:
