Hi,

Now that I am finally making good beads, have been looking more at the glasses. I just love all the colors from Bullseye but other than COE & Price, what difference is there between Morettie and Bullseye?

Is Bullseye stiffer? Are there color reactions like in moretti glass? Which do you prefer? Are the bullseye rods as shocky, like the white? etc..

BE is definitely stiffer. It's much easier to control than Effetre and I think it's the perfect glass for a beginner. You don't get the reactions like you do with Effetre, which is a plus in a way. Sometimes I don't want any surprises when I open the kiln in the morning. I like both glasses and would never choose to go with just one.

I've never used Lauscha, so can't comment on that.

When I started on the HH, I had the pack of moretti that came with it, and then I got a bunch of bullseye. I found the Bullseye easier to handle, more consistent and less shocky. I like the color scheme a lot. I've only recently gotten a stash of Moretti and it's mostly because I've been waiting on more bullseye from a bulk buy. There are some cool colors in both glasses and bullseye comes out with killer special production colors. I've used Lauscha and really like it, but I haven't seen a lot of colors or a good price on it.
