View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : Bead cases / portable transport display case
I've searched the site and can't find much on this topic... how do you transport your beads/marbles/objects around? I've seen people using what look like briefcases with egg crate foam inside of them... where do you buy these?'
Also, if you have your own briefcase, where can you buy black or grey egg crate foam for padding? My google searches bring up sites with pretty high prices on packing foam, like $30+ for a large 40 x 50 piece.

I use Perzerve bag ( H94858 ) from QVC.com. There's little pockets in each that zip up to hold plenty of beads.

This looks really nice! I can't really see the inside on the website because the picture is so dark. Do you have a pic of yours filled or even unfilled where I could see the pockets better?

Sure! I'll do that when I get home. :)
The egg-like foam cases are probably the ones for photography equipment. I used to have a smallish one.

JC showed us her case last year sometime.. it was very inspiring!

Yeah, I saw JC's case at AGI, and Brad also had a similar one.
I bought a briefcase at thrift and want to put foam in it, but I can't find foam for a decent price. I even posted to Freecycle to see if anyone had extra foam sitting around. I know the white kind isn't that expensive at WalMart, but I'd prefer to have black or grey.
Meliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. ...can we see a pic? :poke: pretty pretty please?

I just bought this: http://doskosport.com/Catalog.plx?ID=27
I got it at Bass pro shops/outdoor world for $40.00. I'm sure there are plenty of other options out there on the net =)

you can buy eggshell foam at a fabric store or walmart for beds too its a little thinner but cheaper if you were making your own case

hey I remembered! LOL... Anyways here's my bead case. I have two of these, the other one is smaller. This folds out to be pretty long.
Small pockets to keep my pairs and bigger sets. Not shown on the other side is a huge pocket where I keep my jewelry peices. There'ls also a flip open portions to keep rings or big hole beads. :)

When you flip the page, more medium size pockets. I keep my 1-1/2 lentil focals and other bead sets.
63793
More spaces for jewelry I keep necklaces on the left and bracelets on the right.

Now the smaller one I have is H51901, and that one has more of the medium size pockets, no huge ones like in the 3rd picture. The smaller travel case can be attached with velcro. I keep my exchange beads in the travel one. :) Hope this helps!
Oh those are great! I think I need one of each :-D . Thanks for the pics Melissa!

At the last show I saw the marble guys using these rather large guitar cases lined with the eggshell foam, they held a TON of marbles (literally)....they even fly with them....

Harbor Freight carries the cases with the foam already in them.
