I took Kim Fields' class on making florals this spring, and the one thing that stuck out in my mind was that none of her encased beads have bubbles (except those that are intentionally placed within a flower). For some reason, I fail to achieve that standard of no bubbles, and I really don't remember what she taught was the way to accomlish this.
So my question is, how do I avoid bubbles? I strip-encase as Kim taught in class (perfect for very thin casing layers).

Okay, my florals still look like shit, but they don't have bubbles. The trick is to get the clear really melty before you swipe. If you have some spotes that are not covered, melt another blob (really melty) and squish it in.
