Wish I knew the answer to that Angie. My 3/32nd reamer doesn't touch the sides of the bead hole so I am still left with a whitish finish.

Not sure if you are aware of the reamers from www.artintheround.com .
Dave has a video of his reamer in the LE Website section and it shows how great this reamer works. It is designed to perfectly fit the mandrel size that you use...either 3/32 or 1/16. Check the reamers out, you won't be sorry, they work great! Just a happy customer passing on a good tip.

I use the replacement reamers from www.frantzartglass.com under cleaning tools. They are two sizes one works well for the 1/16th mandrel and the other works well for the 3/32 size. The other is designed to clean up ends. I don't like to use that one because I like my ends puckered but the other two in the set are decent, last a long time and cost very little. To get a good clean hole does take practice though. You have to keep the bead wet and turn it to get all sides, and at the same time be careful not to make the hole bigger.
