so I got this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5031492590&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1) concentrator off ebay, plug it in and the alarm won't go off and it doesn't seem to be blowing anything. No hum of a moter nothing... so before a I pitch a fit at the "recently serviced working condition" concentrator any ideas as to what *I* might be doing wrong?

ohh geez, not a Nidek! If you're lucky, your machine will run with a little repair. It sounds like the compressor isnt getting power. This can be caused by a bad connection inside, or maybe the capacitor became unhooked. If you go inside the machine just make sure its unplugged first. When you find the compressor, just trace the wires that come out of it. Two should go to a plastic or metal cylinder. Its the capacitor. Its like a big battery but very strong and can cause damage if you handle it wrong. If the wires are hooked up, trace the other wires out of the compressor. See if they are hooked up. If they are, maybe test for power going to the compressor.

If all that doesnt solve it, look on the circuit board for a fuse. maybe its blown.

Hopefully its something simple!
