Sofa Expo Party and C.E.R.F. benefit auction at Chicago Hot Glass
Sofa (Exposition of Sculpture Objects & Functional Art) party and CERF benefit auction.
We will be have an live auction and a silent auction of glasswork made mostly by folks at the studio, There's also a raffle of some sort and we are on our way to making around 500 hand blown cups that we will ask for $10 each donation (some are a little shakey and some are pretty good as we are having them made by everyone involved at the sudio regardless of skill level). We will also be having several internationally known Glass artist stopping by and maybe giving Glass blowing demos.
Procedes from all of this will be donated to C.E.R.F. All supplies, raw materals, glass. color, studio time and hands on work is being donated by Chicago Hot Glass and the associated Glass Artists. Food and drinks will be donated by area resturants and bars. Admission is free.
