Why are you using a curved mandrel? Am I missing something?

Do you mean the unflippable?

The curved mandrels in general are hard to rotate evenly by their nature. You may have to move your hand up and down as well as rotate. They should be fairly evenly balanced though.

Oh, I thought you were using the regular SSL from reading your post and title. That's why I was wondering about the mandrel. I didn't know she had an SSL like that.

Hello, This is a neat focal mold and it is large. Its a straight sided lentil which means it's unflippable! You can string it on cord or whatever and the lentil will not flip. So ,you can have different designs on each side of the lenil. You take of the necklace and reverse it for a different design. I think it will be dynomite if I can figure out how to use and how much glass. It takes alot of glass! Inspirational Toolworks also has this mold and so does Zoozi on her site. Check it out! Jacque
