My Studio/Anniversary Gift

Some girls want diamonds. We at LE of course all want nice studios. Here's my gift from my hubby. It was from an Amish shed place. They had to finish it on site cause we couldn't fit it around a corner whole. So I thought I'd post these, in case anyone wants to see how they do it.We're running the electricity today. I'm so excited!

Thank you for all of your kind comments. My DH is very supportive of my creative endeavors (although like everyone, he does have his dark side!:lol: )

I've got an exhaust hood waiting to be set up from glasscraft, an oxy concentrator and a mini cc waiting to be set up.

I think I'm going to face the torch to the back left corner of the shed. We hope to put a big counter/workspace in a u shape across the back and the sides, angled in the corners.

Raven, the shed pace we went to was a local family run business, the showroom is here on Long Island, and the sheds are built in Pennsylvania by the Amish. There are many websites out there. Just do a google on Amish sheds and you will find a bunch. Here's just one that I found:

A lot of the cost depends on proximity/delivery costs.

I will keep everyone posted of my progress. It's really been a long process. We started out over a year ago thinking we would rent some space, but it got so complicated, and in the long run, this was the best and cheapest (rents around here are high) solution.
