Okay... I need some pink glass. I like pink, but I'm not ~drawn~ to it while making beads, but the demand for pink beads has become a roar and I can't hold back the tide any longer!

Can someone suggest some good pinks (in soft glass) for me? Kandice, you out there? I know you are the Queen of the Pink!

TIA!

Ha ha! I think all the pink lovers would outbid me on that! Do they even make that anymore or was it just one odd lot?

Bullseye makes a nice range of pinks. My favorite is 1215 Light Pink Striker. It strikes to a nice hot pink color without using a reduction flame or doing anything special. I am not a "pink" person either, but really like this color.

Sadly, just one odd lot. You can find it once in a while.

LOL I love being called the queen of pink. :) I just use the staples - Streaky Pink (if you can't get it, you can substitute 256 Dark Pink, it will just be slightly peachier), Rubino (there are several different batches now, and they are all a different shade, which widens the palette) and a couple of different transparents (082 for that rosy lavender shade is wonderful, as are Vetrofond transparent pink and Effetre transparent pink).

I have a pink gallery on the new beadartists.org site....here's a link.

Feel free to copy - I don't care. :D

I've been enoying playing with Da Reichenbach Pink (officially called purple). It's a true Fuschia opaque pink. I haven't come up with anything really cool yet but it's only a matter of time (something I don't have much of). :)

I have oodles of pinks... I have the most fun with the bullseye pinks including a handful of odd lot colors I have from them. Every shade you could want that moretti doesn't make. (bubble gum pink, pink and white swirls, fuchsias galore).

Don't forget Tourmaline pink from Check Glass :) It is a gorgeous shade of transparant fuschia/cranberry
