Can anyone tell me where to get 10 and 12 inch solid duct work from??
If i reduce the diameter of the duct run the static pressure increases and I loose Cfms[-o<
Lowes carries 6 and 8 inch, grainger has 8 inch as well.

Try local HVAC supplier.... Most local shops stock a supply of various sizes duct work and the are usually reasonable in pricing...
How much CFM are you trying to push that 8 inch duct is to small...

Thanks Dale,
I am so confused the grainger tech told me to stay with 10" duct for this fan, Why ??
The outlet on fan is 10 1/4 ". It was my understanding that I need to keep with the same size so I do not increase the static pressure and loose efficiency.
It certainly would be easier to get the 8" duct from lowes if they carry it.
Application: open faced box 36 wide by 30" tall =1080
1080 divided by 144 = 7.50
7.50 x 100= 750
Solid duct 5 ft long straight up
one 90 degree bend to exit building

IF my spread sheet is correct, if you use 8 inch duct and run is 5 feet of straight duct, and one 90° turn your static pressure should be between 0.139 and 0.165 and with fan you have shown specifications for, it will give you between 770 and 733cfm which should be suffient...

The 'outlet' on this fan is 6.25" x 5.75" rectangular.
The input is 7" diameter, matching well to 8" duct work.
This is a forward curve fan... biased to push, not pull... nominally located in a plenum, at the beginning of the duct work.
