What Is The Gathering?

I know lots of people are headed out of town to the Gathering but what is it exactly. Since I can't go anywhere, I feel like I'm missing out on a party or something. Can anyone tell me what you do there?

The ISGB (International Society of Glass Beadmakers) holds a conference once a year, and it's called The Gathering.

This year, it's in Minneapolis, the end of next week. Next year, it will be in Oakland, CA.

Ya know what...I am an ISGB member and I got that book! I should go read it .
I envy you all for being able to go. Maybe one day, I can start up a chapter in Palmdale, that is after I introduce the art of Lampworking to the community in October at my very first arts and craft show!
