This may be redundant and you all may know about this, but I came upon it this morning when my husband was trying to help me get two beads loose from a 1/16" mandrel.
I was going nuts - nice beads and couldn't get them off....can you say..."throw them against the wall mad"?
Anyway, he sprayed a bit of WD-40 type stuff on them - kind of a penetrating oil, let them sit a couple of minutes and VOILA - off they slid!
I think I thinned my bead release too much (towards the bottom of the bottle) and should have re-dipped them.
You may all have tried this, but I was totally surprised, amazed, and ever so happy! Then I washed the mandrels and beads well in soapy water.
