auber pid temperature controller

Hi all,

Okay here is the deal. I bought an Auber SYL PID Temperature controller. I need help learning how to program it. Does anyone have one, that could help me get started? I built my own kiln, so that I could get multiple functions out of it and felt I needed a digital controller.

Hi, just saw your question, I also built my own kiln with the help of Dudley Giberson at Joppa Glassworks. I used the Auber controller and have had no problems with it. I know Dudley has spent some time setting up the program for it and probably has the information you are looking for. I set mine up while on the phone with him and haven't adjusted it since then so I can't help you with that. Here is his website, http://www.joppaglass.com/

May I ask where you two got your controllers and about what they cost? I have a great kiln, but no way to program the cool down process.
