Finally ready to do the step up - what's better oxygen tank or oxygen concentrator. Any insight would be appreciated. Haven't been beading for while so if it's a tank, what size to start with? What other safety features do I need to be concerned.... Thanks

They both have plus and minus. I'd try tanked first and if you find your spending a lot of $ on oxygen refills of if getting the tanks from the supply to your house is and issue, then go to concentrators.
one thing though about the minor. I was at the vedors at the gathering and at the ABR display the had the NEW minor. It looks the same but is red and the front ports are differnt.
I was told that it is the center fire of nortels Red rocket torch.
I think the new minor is supposed to be hotter and more focus and able to get a better pin point flame.

I would personally go with the concentrator. it will save you a TON of money in the long run, it requires no heavy lifting of tanks and 1 will give you plenty of power for soft glass beads and pendants. and you can always add another concentrator if you decided to do boro.

I'm also thinking of leaving the hot head for a minor. I would buy a kit containing the torch, 2 12 foot hoses, and 2 regulators. Is there anything else besides the propane and oxygen that I need? Do I need additional ventilation?
Thanks
