Ok, I now have this resist stuff, used it on some trans beads in these really neat spiral designs, etch it about 5 mins each side (lentil) and the stuff came off and totally blew the design to hell! How should I use this stuff, thick, thin? Any hints would be very helpful!

Use elmer's glue, I've been told. :D Or cheap nail polish.

I've done the glue trick with the same outcome! I'll just have to play around with it some more!

Anne,
I use nail polish. I let it dry in the bottle a little so it is thicker, then I paint it on with a pointed piece of bamboo, not a brush. Two coats, usually. Seems to work well for me. I never had much luck with the resist.
