Angie, you can make a big dot & melt it in. The bigger the dot, the bigger area you'll have.
That simple eh!!?
i thought there was gonna be a magic way of doing it lol, thanks Vivian ;)

I've had a go at this, here's how I did it!
for really huge dots you can cut short bits of rod, say about 1/2" or less, then warm, spot heat bead, attach the bit of Spot rod end on, hold bead so added rod hangs down, melt in flame, flatten dot on marver to increase the footprint, the more you flatten before its melted flush the bigger the footprint, the larger the end dot will be.
just FYI the slower you melt your dots in the crisper the outlines will be as well!

HUH??? I don't see a pic of something round and orange... its just a pic of a studio. Am I missing something?

My god, it's been a long week for me. I reread this thread a dozen times. Call me confused.
the only thing I see orange is what looks like an old milk can.....
Maybe she just uploaded the wrong pic and dosn't realize it - bet that is her studio :)
I am betting that the link to the photo used to be a different pic of a bead - it has a very generic name of Image1 and it was probably overwritten later with a pic of an adorable studio. :)

Here's how I make that bead.
First, I pour the concrete. Then I usually erect the framework,
followed by the electrical work and plumbing if necessary.
Slap up some drywall, paint the walls and plant some flowers.
Then, it's ready for wearing.
You might need a really heavy chain, though....

Yeah, it's hard, but then again - I only have to sell one bead a year.

Put the lime in the coconut, you drink 'em both together
Put the lime in the coconut, then you feel better
Put the lime in the coconut, drink 'em both down
Put the lime in the coconut, and call me in the morning
