View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : reinbach stringers
ok ok no laughing!! raku is coe 98 right?? So other reinbach rods used in stringers would be ok?? I have some gorgeous colors that I got in the ca7 game and would love to play with it, but not quite sure what to do with it, being a 104 coe gal??
Any tip suggestions, pictures would be luvly!! Thank you
Josie - Reichenbach is 96 COE and being furnace glass, its metal content allows it to be used sparingly with 104 and 90 COE. Most of my twisties have some Reichenbach in them.
hales, your a dolly thank you!!
And it is great in murrini, too! And I like to use it on opaque colors with dots, makes nice effects.
they don't pop off, or you melt them in??
Dots and stringer work won't pop off Josie. Just as with your 104 surface decoration, as long as you make sure its completely adhered to the bead beneath, you won't have any problem. I use R reduction stringers all the time for a nice metallic effect on my 104 beads.
I love the way some of the reichenbach's ( and kugler) play with 104! It is my favorite toy! I actually have a whole seperate section of my stash devoted to just 93-ish 's ....love love love that glass! I would be at such a loss without those on my workbench! go nuts, have fun...it's all good!
