I have just purchased a used Mini CC and this is my first duel-fuel torch. I watched the DVD, but didn't know the answer to these questions.

When ordering regulators, how do you know which ends to get, i.e. male B, female A. etc?

Also, same question regarding flashback arrestors. I have notices that these products tend to come with different types of connectors, so how do I know what ends to get?

One last question, where is the best (cheapest) place to get the regulators and flashback arrestors?

Thanks so much for all your help!

Hi Debi...

I'd recommend calling Carlisle directly. I found them to be really helpful. They have everything you need for hooking up your torch and they'll walk you through how to do it.

There's a 1-800 number on the bottom of the page here...

Good luck!

While I love the folks at Carlisle you can get everything you need at any welding store ,take the torch with you and get hooked up.Remember T grade hose for propain.

I have a mini cc too and I had the safety expert at Maine Oxy come down to my house and hook the whole thing up. It was worth the cost to me to know I had it right. He took me step by step thru turning it on and off, what order to do things and I wrote it all down. It takes me one trip outside to turn it on but TWO to turn it off.... what I do first, burn fuel off and 2nd trip to release my PA (Pressure Adjustment) screw.

He told me I had a "Hilton" set up and that I would NOT believe the train wreck systems he deals with every day. He was very impressed with my torching area. The peace of mind in knowing I have it right was worth the cost.
