what psi settings for Cheetah

I finally got my new torch hooked up, let the old settings of propane at 5 psi and tanked O2 on 10 psi. I tried to melt someboro rod and I believe I noticed some
flame jumping?flactuations.
Is is set too low ?

Try bumping the oxygen up to 20 or 25 psi and see how that works for you. Many people suggest a ratio from 4:1 to 6:1 oxy to propane for boro.

I think I was using 8 propane and 25 oxygen. Whatever the highest number was on the instruction sheet that came with it is what I was using.
And it rocks...

Thanks Kimberly! I got my Lynx and Cheetah both used and they didn't have anything with them. I need to get the cleaning kit from GTT also.
