Hot Head and bulk tank

Hi all, I am working on a hothead with a bulk tank of Chemtane. (not sure on spelling). Chemtane is hard to find. I can get it through TLD design center, but it's about an hour drive to get there.

so I was wondering, does anyone work on a hot head with propane? Are there any differences?

Yes you can use propane, flame characteristic may be somewhat different with propane. But it should be ok... You may have to move glass around in flame to find optimum heat and flame characteristic but essentially it is doable and should not take to much time to readjust to propane as fuel.
