Can't answer the question, but I've had mine for a year...I've given about half of it away so other people can try the wonderful stuff...and I've still got enough for another 6 months or so. Love my Alice's!!!

I use a glass spice jar (tall and narrow) so I can get a lot on the mandrel, and when it gets thick I add water and shake. When it gets low, I add more mix, water...and shake! Cleans up really well!

Years?

Dunno, but it lasts a long time. If you're trying to figure out whether it's cheaper than the other releases on the market, the answer is oh yeah. Way, way cheaper. The downsides are that it's not flame dry and it's not the easiest release to clean out of bead holes. It's easy to get the beads off the mandrels, though.

I too would measure Alice's in years, not ounces. I bought the 2 1/2# container in 2002 and bought my second one this year. And it's the only release I use.

A 2 1/2 lb tub is probably about the size of a half-gallon of ice cream, maybe bigger. It makes a BOAT load of bead release. I've had mine for 2 years and I'm not even half way through it yet. BUT - I don't do this full-time.
