Help...I Want to Accept CC

I know this question was already posted but for the life of me, I can't find the thread.

I'd like to accept credit cards as a method of payment.

Can you point me in the right direction? Is this a fairly painless, easy process or will I be signing my life away?

I've had really good service with Discover (Discover.com?). They cover Discover, Mastercard and Visa. I went with them because my CC receipts can be fairly on again, off again and they have a pay by the transaction plan instead of a flat monthly charge. Dealing with Discover has been painless and I've have been with them for 6 or 7 years. My sales really went up when I started taking credit cards. Good luck...
