I am just a beginner at lampwork and I have only worked with Moretti. I would like to know what Reichenbach is like. I know it does not go with Moretti, but that is all I know. I would love some opinions :-s Thanks so much :-)

Reichenbach glass is mainly used in frit form for lampworking. Reichenbach, Kugler, and Gaffer are 96 COE glasses that have lead in them which makes them compatible with our other soft glasses in small amounts. I think it's made mainly for furnace work so if you want to buy rods for lampworking make sure you get 'cane' because the 'rods' are HUGE. Gail from GG Glass is on the forum and she sells some cane.

Thanks Dawn, my supplier in Germany is now offering Reichenbach as well as Moretti and I was wondering if it is better or more beautiful than Moretti. He is offering rods btw. Love, Jenny

I have used some Rcane, and it does give different colors than Moretti. I wouldn't call it better, just different. Like bullseye is different from Moretti.
