Please forgive my ignorance... I've been reading about people using BBQ propane tanks with their torch setups. Can anyone tell me what regulator is used? The bbq regulators don't have the gauges to control psi...If I were to use a bbq tank setup would I need to buy a regular propane regulator, and would that fit/ work with a bbq tank? Thanks so much in advance!

You can screw a regular fuel gas regulator (propane or acetylene) into the BBQ grill propane tanks and use them. Acetylene regulators are usually cheaper and I think better tuned for lampworking because the gauge for line output usually maxes out at 30 psi since most acetylene work is done in the 5 psi to 10 psi range. This means they are easier to set low pressures on than propane gauges that are often up to 100 psi.
