Can I use an Oxygen Concentrator with these torches?

I feel it's safe to say that you will not be able to run a Bethlehem PM2D nor a GTT Lynx on a concentrator. Maybe a few of them in series might do the Lynx but I doubt it for the PM2D. It would even be iffy on a generator like the OGSI OG-15 Oxygen Generator sold by Frantz Art Glass. I've set up a few of them in studio setups and they advertise that you can run a Lynx on it but it would be a weak Lynx. You are talking about a concentrator or a generator?

I used one oxycon with my GTT Lynx for about 6 months. It does fine if you're just working with soft glass. I now use two oxycons running about 8-9 LPM combined and it works great. I work Boro and have done up to 1.75 inch marbles. I can't wait to get my GTT Mirage and liquid O2, but for now this set up works well. PM me if you have any more specific questions.

You would be able to use the Ulimited Oxygen P-10 with the Lynx.

The PM2D would require much more oxy. They are working on one now (P-30) that will have 20 LPM and 30 PSI. You would need 2 of these to run the PM2D to it's fullest potential. You would be able to run a Tiger Shark with one of the P-30 units.

You can use an Integra 10 or an Onyx+ with the Lynx...no problem. Not the Pm2D, but I do have generators that CAN run the Pm2D...the Centrox or above...

I'll jump in this one with Paulette and Kristian. There isn't a concentrator out there that can run a PM2D. Even two 20psi, 10 lpm units wouldn't do it fully. The PM2D uses 30.77 lpm wide open so two may run it mildly. However, one good concentrator can run a Lynx easily.

According to Wally at GTT, the P20 (used to be called millennium 10)
will run a bobcat, lynx or cheetah easily. Looks like South Central Cryogenics has done it..

I run my Lynx on a concentrator but I don't use anything other than soft glass.

I ran one concentrator with my Lynx for along time, worked great for beads. Then I added another concentrator and I think I am getting more of the torches potential.

I did some research on the PM2D and the OG-15 and found that while it would run the inside flame, it would not run the outside flame to even a small percentage of the torch's potential. I have used a Lynx on a concentrator and found that its potential is only about half, if that, of what the torch on tanked O2 can do. However, many people seem to be happy running the Lynx on one or two concentrators, depending mainly on the type of work they do. The Lynx I have used on one of the Onyx generators worked well, almost to its potential, but still not quite there. I hope this helps.

I don't know if you're at all interested in a smaller Beth, but I run my Barracuda on two used cheapie concentrators with good results, and I think that a P-20 would be pretty sweet with it.

It doesn't seem to like a lot of pressure, though, so a concentrator with less pressure and more volume (like 15 lpm, 10 PSI) would be better.
