Minor Burner Price

A long time lurker finally joined. :p



I have a question concerning the value of a Minor torch. Is a well used but good condition Minor worth $100? I thought the value might be a bit lower for a well used torch.

You can get a brand new one for $165.

If they throw in the hoses, $100 may be a good deal, though. It also depends on just how "well used" it is...

The age of these escapes me. Probably 8 years old or more and used in a classroom environment. Some length of hose is included. I'm thinking of adding a second torch is all. I have a Minor now, maybe a larger second torch would be a better choice.

One that old I wouldn't pay that much for.

I would look for a bigger torch as your main torch and keep your Minor as a second torch.

Thanks. I thought the value might be more in the $75 range, which I would probably do. There were several listed on Ebay in this range a month or so ago. I was a bit surprised when the asking price was 100 bucks.
